Gerardo Manrique is a producer, writer, arranger and guitarist. He began his music career performing with Grammy winner, Latin artist Gianmarco. To quote Gerardo, “Music for me is the most honest expression of my soul”.
It all begun when I learned to play guitar when I was 10 years old. At the age of 17, I started playing with well known artists in my country, Peru. After that, a lot of opportunities came my way…

My solo career started in January 2011 with “Relax Journey”, my first solo album and performing at Downtown Disney, Orlando, Florida. Currently, I’m producing my 3rd solo album.
And the journey continues… all I can say, is that I’m very grateful to be a musician.

In 1997 Gerardo produced artist Gianmarco’s fifth album AL QUINTO DIA, which reached the category of Gold in CD sales.
He has also recorded guitars for top latin artists such as John Secada, Miami Sound Machine, Christian Castro, Jaci Velasquez and Jimena to name a few.
In 2003 formed a band named “Destination Earth” with Atom Troy on Lead vocals, keyboards and drums and Mike Muzio on vocals and keyboards, and released the album “Contact Day” in 2004 under Nebulous Records. The song “Almost Home” was dedicated to the crew of the ill-fated Columbia space shuttle voyage. D.E donated a portion of the proceeds generated from the sale of this album to the NASA Family Assistance Fund.
In that year, besides his own band, he was part of Grammy winner “Obie Bermudez” band.In 2010 he was part of the legendary Michael Sembello’s band, which for him, was very pleasant as well as challenging in his music career.
In October 2011, Gerardo released his own project “Relax Journey” under Goin’ Native Records, a label dedicated to world music.
In January 2014, Gerardo released his 2nd instrumental CD “Alchemy of Dreams” under his own label “Ombu Entertainment”.
At the present time he is working at his own company, Ombu Entertaintment Inc. producing his new G-Band Project to be released on Blu Ray disc and performing Disney Springs – Orlando Fl.
